Notes:
- Claims of under capacity the battery must first be fully charged (preferably overnight) and a discharge test must be performed and results provided. An Astratec capacity tester and a printout of the results is preferred.
- Results from Midtronics testers cannot be used to justify under capacity claims.
- CCA claims and test results should be discussed with MPower before submitting a claim, as we have found that results from some testers to be inaccurate on AGM batteries.
- Claims regarding physical anomalies should be accompanied by a photograph.
- Photographs are also requested of the battery “as installed” for any claims involving under bonnet applications. This will not be used to assess your claim but will assist us in identifying any unsuitable vehicles for this application in the future.
- MPower will replace or credit a faulty product at our discretion
Ultimate Xtreme Under Bonnet Warranty: Only the Nissan Patrol Turbo diesel models are specifically excluded from the Ultimate Xtreme under Bonnet warranty, as the accommodation for the auxiliary battery in these vehicles is directly adjacent to the turbo charger. However, as Ultimate Xtreme batteries are of AGM construction, discretion is recommended when installing this battery in under bonnet applications if it is to be installed where it will be subject to a direct heat source.
